Joe Fitzpatrick won in 2007 when Kate Maclean stood down, (which made Dundee the first all-SNP city in the country). In 2011 he consolidated the 2007 victory into a comfortable majority in 2011. Liberal Democrat Alison Burns lost her deposit.
