One of the few constituencies where the increase in Labour’s share of the exceeded the increase in the SNP’s, ensuring Jackie Baillie bucked the trend and won a fourth consecutive election for Labour. She now represents Labour’s most northerly constituency, something which would have seemed unimaginable in previous elections.
